Carousels 旋轉木馬系列－如此生活

旋轉木馬這個主題是一種人生哲學。

我以孩童般的純真無邪來畫這些作品。用孩童的眼光來看生活中的喜悅和希望、崇拜與尊重他們的長輩、與朋友相聚的有趣時刻、嬉遊和生活中的新發現。

對我而言，小時後在加泰隆尼亞的小鎮參加園遊會的記憶是無比的重要，所以我畫出印象中的那些園遊會。我不希望觀畫者對我說，這是巴黎的旋轉木馬、或是巴塞隆那的、或是哪一個重要或知名的城市。我希望喚起他們童年參加過園遊會的回憶，當他們還擁有赤子之心的時後，那些沒有失去對人生的期望與對人性的信任和希望的日子。

有些畫裡面放了一個單獨的大旋轉木馬，象徵著在一個不確定的路徑下，無可避免的還是會走上唯一的選擇，這就是人生。

但在其他的畫裡面，園遊會的範圍更完整，有更多的元素，代表人們還是可以選擇他們自己的命運。

The theme of the carousels is motivated by a philosophy of life.

I paint these works with the innocence and purity of when I was a little kid. A kid who see life with joy and hope, and who admire and respect his parents and his family, a kid who share with his friends funny moments , games and the first discoveries of life.

That reason is why the memories of the Fairs of the small towns of Catalonia: Artés, Horta, Banyoles, Olot, Caldes …) are more important to me, that the fact of painting a recognized fair. I prefer that when the spectators see a Fair- Carousel painting, they don’t tell me that it is the Carousel of Paris, or Barcelona, or another important and well-known city, but they are moved by remembering the fairs they attended, and that they also were kids and they did not lose the desire of living and the hope and faith in people and life.

There are paintings in which there is a single and big carousel, in an undetermined path, the infinite, although in it we can perceived that at the end there is life.

In other paintings the fair is more complete, with more elements and where people can choose their destination.
